Deze mooie en prima rijdende Peugeot 404 is in 1962 nieuw gekocht door een “professeur” in Pau, Zuid Frankrijk, tegen de Spaanse grens. Hij heeft daar jaren gereden, en is in 2018 in Nederland ingevoerd. Hij heeft nu een vrijstelling voor de APK en wegenbelasting.Een mooie auto met heel veel uitstraling. De originele imperiaal wordt vanzelfspreken meegeleverd, en kan eenvoudig worden verwijderd.

Documenten :
De auto heeft dus een Nederlandse registratie, indien gewenst kan (tegen een meerprijs van 50 euro) de auto worden geleverd met EU-export document zodat een buitenlandse koper de Citroen eenvoudig kan laten registreren. 

Carrosserie:
De Peugeot is origineel in deze kleur nieuw geleverd, en heeft met de jaren natuurlijk enkele plekjes opgelopen, hij is inmiddels alweer 62 jaar oud. Bijzonder mooi in combinatie met het originele mooie chroom. Hij ziet er heel erg netjes uit, op enkele plekjes kan je zien dat de lak echt oud is, verkoper heeft dit zo gelaten om de oude patina te laten zien. Zie de foto's. Ook de onderzijde is goed bijgehouden en daarmee in zeer nette toestand. 

Technisch:
Er is veel aan vervangen, een nieuwe tank, nieuwe brandstofleidingen, en een nieuwe brandstofpomp. Ook zijn de bougies en kabels vernieuwd. Een nieuwe accu en nieuwe uitlaat zijn eveneens gemonteerd. Bij de koude start rookt de auto een beetje, dat verdwijnt met een halve minuut. Bij harde regenval loopt wat water naar binnen. De vering werkt goed, wel maakt de linkerveerpoot af en toe wat lawaai, en de auto rijdt, remt, schakelt en stuurt heel erg goed. 

Interieur: 
Aan de stoelbekleding zie je de leeftijd, er zijn daarom stoelhoezen op de voorstoelen geplaatst. De achterbank en de deurpanelen zijn netjes. 

Transport:
De auto staat in Hengevelde, Nederland en kan hier vanzelfsprekend worden opgehaald. De auto kan tegen meerprijs van 150 euro in Nederland worden bezorgd (excl. De Waddeneilanden)

Verkoper kan de auto relatief goedkoop in de hele EU laten bezorgen door een professionele transporteur.
